Walter Dennis Abshier

W. Dennis Abshier died peacefully on May 14, 2024. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Mary Anne Nollsch-Abshier, and their children, Denise (Brad) and Matthew (Ericka.) Dennis lived in Alaska from 1946-1967. Then he returned to Bisbee, Arizona where he met his wife on a blind date. Dennis and Mary Anne moved to Tucson in 1969 where they raised their two children. Dennis spent his years after retiring from Duval Copper Mine and Ace Hardware, building houses and miniature town replicas for his HO trains. Dennis will be remembered for always have a joke to share, and his artistic creativity.
