Silas Jordan Zacchaeus Polin

Silas Jordan Zacchaeus Polin, born on May 2, 1986, in Cheyenne, Wyoming, left this world far too soon on September 5, 2025, in Tucson, Arizona. His presence was a blend of joy, strength, and quiet dignity that touched everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.

Silas embodied a spirit of playfulness and grace that was truly remarkable. He embraced life with a goofy smile, effortlessly picking up new skills and interests, and spreading joy to those around him. His love for music was profound; strumming his guitar or finding solace in the great outdoors were some of the ways he expressed his vibrant spirit. He cherished moments spent riding BMX and reading the Bible, displaying an extraordinary memory for details that delighted friends and family alike.

Growing up in Tucson after moving there in the fourth grade, his experiences shaped him into a young man of remarkable character. He loved deeply and cared tenderly for the hearts and minds of others, listening with intent, showing an honorable loyalty that created lasting bonds. His life, despite its challenges, radiated light and warmth; Silas had an uncanny ability to remain thoughtful and spiritual, even when faced with adversity.

Silas’s proudest accomplishments shine brightly against the struggles he faced throughout his life. Though many factors sought to diminish his spirit, he persevered with an unyielding grace that inspired everyone around him. He showed that the strength of the heart can illuminate even the darkest paths, and he remained selfless, never allowing his own burdens to cast shadows on others.

He is lovingly remembered by his mother, Laura Polin; father, McLeod Polin; big brother, Abel Polin; big sister, Harvest Polin; and stepmother, Kathy Polin. In their hearts, Silas will forever remain a cherished son and brother whose legacy is one of love, compassion, and resilience.

Silas is also survived by the memory of his little brother and best friend, Nathanael Polin, who preceded him in death. The bond they shared was one of profound connection and understanding, and together they created a world filled with laughter and unconditional support.
