Sam was a Real Estate broker for over thirty years. His other affiliations include the Masonic Order for many years, Christ Church United Methodist and El Camino Church.
Sam was an avid woodworker and was president for both the Desert Woodcrafters and Southern Arizona Woodturners Association. Many high school students have had the privilege of his expertise in lathe turning of pens as he volunteered his craft for over 15 years. He started a program 20 years ago to have pens turned for the troops. Thank you notes have been received from as far away as Kuwait!
Sam and Peggy traveled many years in their camper all over the United States and Canada. Trips also included in their travels were to Israel, England and Scotland.
Sam will always be remembered for his kindness to help others and helping where needed. He always had a quick joke that everyone enjoyed hearing. He will be greatly missed especially by Peggy. Thanks Sam for 41 great years.
