Roberta Ethel (Parker) Andersen, of Tucson, AZ, died May 18, 2025. She was born on August 7, 1936, in Greenville, MI, the daughter of Robert and Aileen (Rice) Parker.

Roberta was a 1954 graduate of Traverse City Central High School. Prior to her move to Arizona in 1978, she was Administrative Assistant to the Deans of Instruction at Northwestern Michigan College.

Roberta was a charter member of VFW 5990 Avra Valley-Marana Ladies Auxiliary and their first Auxiliary Treasurer; she also was a Trustee, as well as editor and publisher of their newsletter for many years. As a member of the Picture Rocks Senior Club, she enjoyed many outings and was also a member of the Pinochle Club. Genealaogy was a very important hobby to her, as she discovered many new family members and was very involved with her family, which she loved dearly.

Roberta is survived by their three children, Tracy Alan (Janice) Andersen of Tucson, AZ, Mark Andrew (Bridgett) Andersen of Interlochen, MI, and Renee' Jean (Joe) Gradillas of Tucson, AZ; six grandchildren, Andie Marie Gradillas, Samantha Jane and Jazmyne Marie Andersen of Tucson, AZ, Megan Marie Andersen of Bellingham, WA, Brooke Taylor Andersen of Interlochen, MI, and Mark Andrew Andersen, Jr. of the U.S. Army, and brother, Richard Wayne (Sherry) Parker of Clay Center, KS: also nine great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Nels Andersen in 2021; father, Robert Edwin Parker in 1993 and her mother, Aileen Phillips in 2006; also by her sisters, Virginia Mae Hepner in 1991 and Vivian Lawrence in 2008.

She will be cremated and interment will be with her husband, at Arizona Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Marana.
