Robert T. Mumma

Robert T. Mumma passed away peacefully on October 16, 2025, in Tucson, Arizona. He was born on August 5, 1935, in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, to William and Bessie (Strayer) Mumma.

Robert is survived by his three children — Gary Mumma, Betsy Pepping, and Barry Mumma — as well as eight grandchildren: Jarett Labbe, Brandon Labbe, Jherek Mumma, Robert Mumma, Adam Mumma, Gino Mumma, Colton Mumma, and Angel DeWitt. He is also remembered with love by his many great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Throughout his life, Robert’s journey took him from New Jersey to Arizona, Texas, Florida, and ultimately to Tucson, where he made his home for the past 17 years. He dedicated his career to the Houston School District, where he worked as a facilities maintenance technician until his retirement.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents, William and Bessie, and his siblings Bill, George, Roger, and Nancy.

Though he is no longer with us, Robert’s kindness, humor, and devotion to family will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to Caring for Generations Corner and Bristol Hospice for the exceptional care and comfort provided to Robert during his final days.

A private celebration of life will be held at a later date.
