Raul G. Nieto

Raul G. Nieto passed away peacefully at his care facility in Tucson, Arizona on Monday, June 9, 2025, he was 82 years old.

Raul was born in Pharr, Texas. He worked as a farm laborer and enjoyed the people he worked with as he traveled to the seasonal work in California and Arizona. Raul also worked alongside family members as they traveled for work. Other duties he performed included being a crew foreman and bus driver for the work crew. He was always ready to help anyone on his crew that needed help during their work shift or after they were done working.

Raul worked until his illness did not allow him to work any longer. Raul's favorite thing to do was to listen to music on his eight track player while driving. He also enjoyed visiting his sisters and brothers that lived near him.

Raul was preceded in death by his parents, Higinio and Flumencia Nieto.

He is survived by daughter, Theresa Nieto of Tucson and son, Raul Jr of Tucson; sisters, Alice Nieto of Connecticut and Mary Tadlock of Florence; brothers, Albert Nieto of Arizona City and Ruben Nieto of Coolidge; grandchildren, Michael Nieto of Tucson, Joseph Hankins of Phoenix, Markus Archuleta of Wyoming, Mystique Archuleta of Tucson and Messiah Nieto of Tucson; great grandchildren, Adriana Archuleta of Wyoming and Jaxon Nieto and Olivia Nieto of Tucson.
