Randall (Randy) DiVon Butler, oldest of 5 sons born to Gerald and Gladys Butler; April 2, 1948 in Tucson, AZ.
Attended Davison Elementary; grew up in the Ft. Lowell/ Alvernon area of Tucson.
Forever Member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Met his future wife, Sarah (Sally) Root, at Doolen Jr. High School. Attended Catalina High School, graduating in the class of 1966. Basketball and tennis were his sports.
Married Sally in 1967
Worked for a gas station and Kalil Bottling Co. before getting a job at the Tucson International Airport for Continental Airlines. Worked all areas for Continental before moving his family to live in Denver area to continue as a supervisor for Continental Reservations.
Moving back to Tucson in 1989 as a Manager of an Aircraft Service Company.
Retiring due to health issues in October 2013
Leaving with posterity of five living sons and spouses: Jason (Christina), Jonathan (Robin), Robert (predeceased), Jeremy (Holly), Joshua (Megan), Jeffrey (Sarah), one daughter and her spouse, Anna (David) Miller.
14 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren
Two brothers, Kim (Judy) Butler and Darron (Tamara) Butler, and a sister-in-law, Patsy Butler.
His eternal companion and best friend Sally Root Butler
