Polly Carolina Valdez

 Polly Carolina Valdez, age 90, was born April 10, 1935, in St. Johns and peacefully passed away December 16, 2025.

 The beloved daughter of Tom Garcia and Ester Chavez-Gallegos. Polly was preceded in death by her parents; her sister Frances Cornado-Moyta; her spouse Eloy E. Valdez, and her children Anita Gurule, Ronaldo Gurule, Eva Chandler, and Antonio Valdez.

 She is survived by her loving sister Lila Barela and her children: Frances McDonald, Robert Gilchrist, John Gilchrist, Jose Valdez, and Cristobal Valdez. She also leaves behind 16 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.

 Polly was a simple, happy, and content woman with a deeply spiritual heart. She loved God and lived her life guided by faith. She had a true green thumb and found great joy tending her garden. She loved to cook, enjoyed fishing, and cherished having her family gathered around her table. Her family meant everything to her, and her home was always filled with love, warmth, and welcome.

 Polly will be lovingly remembered for her gentle spirit, unwavering faith, and deep devotion to her family. Her legacy of love will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
