Listen to Obituary

Norma Jean Bondi was the most kindhearted, generous, and loving person you would ever meet. The word selfless doesn't even cover it.

She was originally from Chicago, Illinois. She eventually made her way out to Phoenix, Arizona, but she always kept her super feisty Chicago spirit and the funny way of pronouncing words like "warsh" or "the dawg". She was silly, she was warm, she loved Rod Stewart and Jesus. She was an animal lover (dogs especially), a wonderful friend, sister, mother, mother-in-law, aunt, and grandmother. She always made you feel loved unconditionally and so special.

To know her was to love and adore her. Norma was a night owl, an avid member of Anytime Fitness, and she loved to read. She was a strong, independent woman (the real deal) who lived a full 81 years and survived a lot… but never let it break her spirit.

Norma was preceded in death by her parents Frank and Norma (Cook) Gasper, and her brother, Frank Gasper.

She is survived by her children, John Bondi and Gina Aguirre. Her sister, Alice Straka. Five grandchildren, Lindsay Aguirre, Ryan Wiley, Bobby Lewis, Sierra Bierman and Gio Bondi; as well as four great-grandchildren.

Thank you to everyone who prayed as this is an extremely hard time for our family,

Gina and John
