N. Wayne Edmonds was born January 15, 1946 to Frank and Vera Edmonds in Waterbury, Connecticut. He died August 20, 2024 in Tucson, Arizona.
Wayne grew up in Naugatuck, Connecticut and attended local public schools and graduated class of 1964 from Naugatuck High School. He moved to Arizona in 1966 where he attended the University of Arizona and played on the football team as a running back. Wayne spent many years working for the State of Arizona in the Economic Services department.
He enjoyed fishing, sports in general but especially golf and UofA football. Wayne was a simple man who loved life. His contagious smile and full laughter brightened the room.
Wayne is survived by his brother; Frank Edmonds, son; Albert Hall, daughter; Kimberly Blackman, granddaughter; Chelsea, grandson; George, grandchildren; Kimberly, Jasmine, Albert Jr. and Rasheed. Also many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by Vera and Frank Edmonds.
