Mike "Santos" Gutierrez

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Mike Santos Gutierrez, known affectionately as Santos, who left this world on December 21, 2025, in Tucson, Arizona. Born on July 5, 1984, in Porterville, California, Santos was a loving son, brother, and father whose presence brightened the lives of everyone around him.

Santos pursued his education at Desert View High School until the 9th grade, but it was in life's classroom that he truly flourished. Throughout his career in the food industry, he displayed a remarkable talent and passion for cooking, particularly renowned for making the best breakfast treats, especially his beloved pancakes. His joy in the kitchen was reflected in the meals he crafted for family gatherings, where laughter and love were always present.

Those who knew Santos remember a man with a magnetic personality. He greeted all he encountered with a cheerful "hello," embodying a spirit that brought warmth to any room. His caring nature, sense of humor, and undeniable love for his family defined his existence. A true mama's boy at heart, Santos cherished the bond he shared with his mother, Gloria Maria Gutierrez, whose love undoubtedly shaped the wonderful man he became.

Santos’ bonds extended beyond those of immediate family; he leaves behind his beloved twin sister, Violet "Missy" Gutierrez, and another sister, Valerie Amor Gutierrez. As a devoted father, he is survived by four caring sons: Cruzito, Alfredo, Vicente, and Angel Gutierrez. His legacy will continue to thrive in the hearts of his many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends, each of whom carry a piece of his vibrant spirit with them.

In his leisure time, Santos delighted in riding his bike to the park, embracing the outdoors, and indulging in tinkering with his bicycle. But above all, it was the time spent surrounded by family that brought him the greatest joy. He leaves us with countless cherished memories and the reminder to savor the moments that bind us together.

Mike Santos Gutierrez will be deeply missed, but his laughter, love, and the indelible mark he made on each of our lives will forever resonate in our hearts. May he rest in peace, embraced in the love he so generously shared with others.
