Michael Gene McIntyre

Michael Gene McIntyre passed away on July 11, 2025, in Tucson, Arizona. Mike was born to Kenneth Woodrow and Marjorie Elizabeth McIntyre in Rochester, Indiana on November 12, 1943.

He graduated from Rochester High School in Rochester, Indiana, in 1961, and attended Butler University in Indianapolis, Indiana, for a year, and William Jewell College in Liberty, Missouri, the following year before settling in at Arizona State University in Phoenix, Arizona, from 1963-1965.

Mike married Betty Jean Kinman in April, 1974, and was blessed with 40 years of marriage to her.

Mike held various sales positions through the years, and in 1977, purchased Yamaha World in Phoenix, Arizona. In 1982, Mike opened the JT Factory Rider store in Phoenix, Arizona, and in 1986, he joined JT Racing as the National Sales Manager.

In 1989, Mike moved into Commercial Truck Sales, and held positions in Phoenix, Arizona, San Diego, California, and Tucson, Arizona, before retiring in 2010.

He enjoyed sports, golf, racing cars and motorcycles, and competition shooting.
