Mary M. Perry

Mary Majella Perry was born June 30, 1962 in Staunton, Illinois to Robert Allen Fritz and Helen Ann Meloy. She passed away May 3, 2025 in Tucson, Arizona.

She attended and graduated from Dos Pueblos High School and then Santa Barbara Business College. Mary was a strong, independent single mother of her two children, Jeff and Christine until meeting Joe Perry, whom she married. Together the family lived just about everywhere, but Santa Barbara, California was always home base. Mary loved to laugh, she was thoughtful and caring towards her siblings and very protective of her children. She was a Christian and a true servant of God.

One of her favorite pastimes was old movies. She would watch Turner Classic Movies and was a big fan of The Ghost and Mr. Chicken. Mary also enjoyed going to concerts with friends and family.

Mary was preceded in death by her father, Robert Fritz and grandparents, Elmer and Marie Corbett.

She is survived by her loving husband of 35 years, Joe; her children, Jeff (Steph) Allen and Christine (Arnav) Bhatkar; mother, Helen Meloy; siblings, Robert, Kevin, Geralyn, Kathy and Maureen; grandchildren, Kinnari, Perry and Kavya; as well as many nieces and nephews.
