Mary Ann Clounch, 83, of Jeffersonville, Indiana, passed away peacefully on Monday, November 10, 2025.

Mary Ann was born on June 25, 1942, in Okeen, Oklahoma, to Oliver A. Cornelsen and his loving wife, Albina (Brumek) Cornelsen.

A woman of deep faith and joyful spirit, Mary Ann was known for her warmth, humor, and love of life. She had a special gift for music—playing piano and organ by ear—and served faithfully as a church musician for more than 30 years. She also loved playing the accordion and singing, both as a soloist and in duets and trios.

Her devotion to God was the foundation of her life. Mary Ann cherished her daily devotional time, loved reading her Bible, and was known as a steadfast prayer warrior, following in her mother’s footsteps. When once asked about her hobbies, she simply replied, “I love to go to church.” Her life reflected her deep faith and her stand for the message and ministry of William Marrion Branham, and her testimony touched many hearts.

Mary Ann found beauty in vivid colors, flowers, and nature. She loved gardening, cooking, and attending gospel singing concerts. Her joyful spirit, love for worship, and devotion to her family and faith will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Mary Ann was the devoted mother of four children, who were the light of her life. She is survived by her son Tim Clounch and his wife Elisabeth, and their son Michael and his wife Kelsey; her daughter Rebekah Schultz and her husband Luke, and their children Matthew, Stephen and his wife Hannah, Jonathan, Hope, Joshua, and Hannah; her son Philip Clounch and his sons Daniel, Dustin and his wife Hannah, and David; and her daughter Anna Joy Pister and her husband James, and their children Ashley, Austin, and Amber. Mary Ann was also blessed with nine great-grandchildren, who brought her much joy.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, John W. Cornelsen; and her husband, Delbert Clounch.

A celebration of life service will be held at a later date. Details will be shared with family and friends once arrangements are finalized.
