Manuel R. Mendoza, "Manny", was born February 6, 1933 in Mexico to John and Marcelina Rodriguez. He passed away July 16, 2024 in Tucson, Arizona.
Manny grew up in Boyle Heights, California. He attended Hollenbeck Jr High and Roosevelt High School. He raised his family in Pico Rivera, California where he worked as a maintenance man. He left California to live in Arizona over thirty years ago.
He loved to run and play tennis.
Manny will be remembered as a loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and friend. He was a very loving, loyal and kind man with a personality that drew people in. You couldn't help but love him! He truly will be missed!
Manny is survived by his children; Manuel Mendoza Jr., Delia, Celia, and Brandon.
Grandchildren; Manny, Timothy, Matthew, Nick, Olivia, Sophia, Celeste, Monica, Jenna, Joe, Christopher, Michael, and Madelyn Mendoza. Siblings; Andy Mendoza and Jenny Garcia and
eleven great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his mother; Marcelina Rodriguez, father; John Rodriguez, Brothers; John Mendoza, George Rodriguez, Albert Rodriguez and daughter; Cynthia Mendoza.
