Mable Grace Minnehan, known affectionately as "Grace," departed this world on January 5, 2026, in her beloved Tucson, Arizona. Born on August 15, 1950, in Phoenix, Grace's vibrant spirit lit up every room she entered. She leaves behind a legacy of warmth, laughter, and a multitude of joyful memories, forever etched in the hearts of her family and friends.

Grace was a proud graduate of Rincon High School, class of '68, and shortly thereafter embarked on a career as a nurse, dedicating two years of her life to caring for others at a local hospital. Her compassion and fierce dedication to her patients mirrored the same spirited nature that fueled her vibrant personality: unfiltered, opinionated, and undeniably competitive. To know Grace was to witness the life of the party; her laughter infectious, her stories captivating.

Her life journey took a momentous turn when she married the love of her life, Joseph Edward Minnehan, on February 14, 1970, in Tucson. They met through friends, igniting a bond that would flourish over the years until Joseph's passing in 2023. Together, they created a home filled with love, laughter, and the delightful aroma of Grace’s culinary creations. She was known for being a good cook, a great baker, and could whip up tacos that could only be described as legendary. Grace also had a knack for finding deals, reigning as the queen of coupons and eagerly recycling Sunday’s newspaper into savings.

Grace’s interests were as varied as her personality—she loved immersing herself in the worlds of Super Mario and Legend of Zelda, rocking out to her favorite Moody Blues songs, indulging in reality TV, and savoring the rich flavors of Mexican cuisine. Her insatiable curiosity led her to devour books from a multitude of authors, each story adding more color to her already vibrant character.

She is survived by her sons, Joseph Jr. (Lynn) Minnehan of Mesa, AZ and James (Araceli) Minnehan of Tucson, AZ; sister, Becky (Don) Klemm of Page, AZ. The legacy of love carries on through her grandchildren—Elliott, Luis, James, Karla, and Javier—all proudly bearing the Minnehan name, alongside her seven cherished great-grandchildren.

Grace’s memorial service will be held on January 24, 2026, at 10:00 AM at Sensible Funerals & Cremation in Tucson, Arizona. Family and friends are welcome to come together to celebrate a remarkable life well-lived, to share stories, to laugh, and to honor the exceptional woman who brought so much joy to so many.

Though the world will feel a little dimmer without Grace’s luminous presence, her spirit will forever resonate in the hearts of those who had the privilege to know her. She was a whirlwind of passion, laughter, and love—a life well-celebrated, a heart well-cherished.
