Luis Cruz Galarza, a lifelong resident of Tucson, Arizona, passed away on July 10, 2026, at the age of 68.

Born and raised in Tucson, Luis was a humble, generous, and hardworking man who dedicated his life to his family, friends, and community. He never hesitated to lend a helping hand and was known for giving selflessly without ever expecting anything in return. His kindness, wisdom, and quiet strength left a lasting impression on everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.

Luis was a highly talented construction professional with exceptional outdoor skills. He took great pride in his work and was respected for his extensive knowledge and craftsmanship. More importantly, he was passionate about teaching others, freely sharing his experience and skills with anyone eager to learn. His guidance and mentorship helped shape the lives and careers of many.

Above all, Luis cherished his family. He is survived by his four loving children, seventeen cherished grandchildren, and seven beloved great-grandchildren, all of whom will carry forward his legacy of love, generosity, and resilience.

He is also survived by his brothers, Ricky, Joey, and Danny, and his sisters, Arlene, Fay, and Margaret, along with many extended family members, friends, and loved ones who will deeply miss his presence.

Luis will be remembered for his humble heart, unwavering generosity, remarkable work ethic, and the countless lives he touched through his kindness and willingness to help others. His memory will live on in the lessons he taught, the love he shared, and the family and friends who were blessed to know him.

Though he is no longer with us, his legacy will continue to inspire all who loved him. He will be forever missed and forever remembered.
