Linda Michelle Pike

Linda Michelle Pike, age 66, passed away in Tucson, Arizona on July 11, 2026. She died peacefully after a long illness. Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Yvonne Francis, and George "Fred" Francis, and her former husband, Ray Pike. She is survived by her brother, Stephen Michael Francis.

Linda was born in Cortland, New York, but spent most of the last 50 years in Tucson. She graduated from the University of Arizona in 1982. She stayed at the University, working her entire career in the Athletic Department and then Business Management. Linda was a huge supporter of the U. of A. athletics, and was the first “Wilma Wildcat” mascot.

Linda will be missed by her many friends in Tucson. The family expresses its deep gratitude to the nurses and doctors in the Northwest Medical Center I.C.U.

A Memorial Service is scheduled for 1:00 PM, Wednesday, July 29, 2026, at Sensible Funerals and Cremation, 109 West Grant Road, Tucson, Arizona 85705.
