Linda Sue (Tolly) Alsobrooks, 77, of Marana, Arizona, formerly of Saline, Michigan, passed away peacefully on September 18, 2025.

Born October 9, 1947, in Mount Pleasant, Michigan, to the late DeWitt and Willo Ann Tolly, Linda graduated from Midland High School in 1965 and earned her Bachelor of Arts in French and Secondary Education from the University of Michigan in 1969. She spent over 20 years as a technical writer with Comshare and later served as Office Manager in the Credentialing Department at St. Joseph Mercy Health System in Ann Arbor. In 2010, she and her husband, Edward Alsobrooks, retired to Arizona.

Linda’s life was a vibrant tapestry of faith, intellect, and a deep love for words. An avid reader, she was also a devoted Michigan football and basketball fan and a loyal viewer of Jeopardy!. She loved to travel, listen to music, and spend time with friends at social gatherings, exercise classes, and walks. Known for her bright wit, warmth, and kindness, Linda touched many lives, often through the thoughtful handwritten notes she loved to send.

She is survived by her husband, Edward Alsobrooks; daughters, Melissa (Michael) Hawkins and Tracy (John) Allen; stepson, Richard (Nicole) Nasutovich; and grandchildren, Amanda and Matthew Hawkins, and Bella, Brayden, and Natalee Nasutovich. She is also survived by her brothers, Rollin (Laurie) Tolly and Dennis Tolly, and her beloved dog, Brady Bo. She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Gwen Klingensmith.

Linda will be missed by many loving family members and friends. Her memory will live on in the hearts of her family and all who were lucky enough to know her.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes donations to the Alzheimer’s Association (alz.org).
