LaTosha Nicole Bailey was born to Theodore and Audrey Bailey on June 7, 1976 in Ridgecrest, California. She was taken too soon and went to her final resting place on March 26, 2025.

LaTosha was preceded in death by her grandmother, Mary Elizabeth Jones Bailey (1978); grandfather, Theodore Buford Bailey (1949); grandmother, Minnie Estell Veasey Gill (2007); Louis Charles Gill (2019).

She is survived by her son, Christopher Michael Bailey; daughter, Yasmine Marit Olafson; sister, Kia Masha Bailey Hawkins; father, Theodore Buford Bailey II; mother, Audrey Louise Gill Bailey; her niece, Alahna Mashay Hawkins and nephew, Houston Isaiah Hawkins. She is remembered by members of her extended family and friends.

LaTosha was born in California, but started her worldwide travels at age two. Her father, who worked for the United States Navy as an Electrical Engineer, was asked to take a position working with Task Force CTF-60 in the Mediterranean Sea which was deployed and based in Naples, Italy. She and her family lived in Tucson, Arizona from age seven to nine years old while her father attended The University of Arizona and received his Masters Degree in Optical Sciences. From there she and her family lived in Orlando, Florida (age twelve to seventeen), Chelmsford, Massachusetts (eighteen months). From there she graduated from Dr. Phillips High School in Orlando, Florida, and Chelmsford High School in Chelmsford Massachusetts. Her family moved from Orlando to Chelmsford during the second semester of her senior year in high school. Her principal invited her to come back and walk with her class in Orlando, Florida. From there she attended North Carolina A&T State University for one year. The family moved to Huntsville, Alabama and she attended Alabama A&M University her sophomore and attended The University of Alabama, Birmingham in Birmingham, Alabama her junior and senior years. LaTosha withdrew from the university her last semester of her senior year. She was a preschool teacher for three years and held several positions in retail. She became a Certified Recovery Support Specialist and worked in that field for the last two and a half years. She also became a Personal Trainer.

LaTosha was a fun loving, caring person. Her smile lit up the room and her personality were witty and electrifying. Her hobbies were running, working out, reading, teaching, and learning new things.

LaTosha was a member of Grace Temple Baptist Church and later transferred her membership to Rising Star Baptist Church.
