Kent Christensen

A loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend, Kent Christensen, 65, of Tucson, Arizona passed away suddenly out in the garden at his home on April 20, 2025. Kent was born on July 9, 1959 to Kenneth Ivan Christensen and Janice Topham. He was the middle of three children.

Kent retired in 2024 after nearly forty-six years of dedicated service with Gates Learjet/Bombardier in Tucson. In recognition of his unwavering commitment and impact, the building was named in his honor - "KC" - a lasting tribute to a lifetime of hard work and respect.

Kent and his wife, Barbara Gurley, began their life together in December 1979 and were married in September 1982, sharing over four decades of love, partnership, devotion and family.

He enjoyed hunting, camping, fishing, gardening and riding his e-bike whenever he had a chance. One of his greatest joys was spending time with his grandson, Eastin, creating memories filled with laughter and love.

Kent is survived by his wife, Barbara; sons, Chase and Chance; grandson, Eastin; mother, Janice; sister, Leslie Keating (Linus); brother, Karl (Christine) plus many nieces, nephews.

Kent was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Ivan Christensen.

His wings were ready; our HEARTS were not.
