Jo was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada and married her high school sweetheart Harold Behrman. The had three children and moved to the states in the 1960s. She was a wonderful mother and also helped raise all her grand children. She moved to Tucson from Connecticut in the 1980s after divorcing and found her true home, the place she belonged - the desert.
She had a conversion experience in her 40s in a Catholic Church in Tucson and this defined the rest of her life’s purpose. “To love and to be present in the moment”. She was a part of the catholic community for 40 years and led contemplative prayer groups. She always had time to listen and care for whoever was in need. She will be remembered for her kindness and gentleness.
She is survived by her daughters, Tracy Linson and Terri Pustilnik; her grandchildren, Joshua Heater, Chrissy Linson Garrett, Samone Linson, Travis Linson, Jeremy Pustilnik, Elijah Pustilnik, Jacob Pustilnik, Amber Behrman, Ashlyn Behrman, and her great grandchild Jeremiah Garrett.
