Jose Contreras Martinez

Jose C. Martinez passed away peacefully on April 8, 2026, in Tucson, Arizona. Born in Finney, Texas, he began working at the age of 13 and carried that strength with him throughout his life.

He is survived by his wife, Elodia Martinez; his son and daughter-in-law; stepchildren; grandchildren; step-grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

Though life brought its share of challenges and distance, Jose’s story remains part of the family he helped create. He is now at peace and will be remembered in his own way.
