The dusty lots of their neighborhood witnessed spirited football games, pitting their teams against others in friendly rivalry. These moments of camaraderie and competition shaped the determination and tenacity that would define John throughout his life.
John’s passion for Arizona basketball was well-known among family and acquaintances, a reflection of his spirited nature and team-first mentality. His commitment to hard work was a beacon to those who crossed his path, earning him deep respect both personally and professionally. Every challenge he faced was met with humility and grit, qualities that shone brightest during his courageous battles with cancer. John confronted his illness twice, emerging with a winning record—a final triumph that brought hope and inspiration to all who loved him.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Grace Trujillo, and is survived by his father, Juan Trujillo, who carries his son’s memory with pride.
