Itzael Monge Velazquez

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Itzael Monge Velazquez, who left us on 1 February 2025 at the age of 67. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, sibling and friend, whose kindness, strength, and love touched the lives of many.

Born in Agua Prieta, Sonora on 1 August 1957, Itzael lived a life full of joy. He was known for his charisma and always being a pleasure to be around.

Itzael is survived by his spouse, children, grandchildren, and siblings, who will cherish his memory forever. He was preceded in death by his father, Rafael Monge; mother, Lucia Velazquez and older brother, Joel Monge.

A vigil will be held on 12 February 2025 at Sensible Funerals & Cremation, 109 W. Grant Rd. from 4:00 - 10:00 PM. 

Mass will be held on 13 February 2025 at Our Lady of Fatima, 1950 Irvington Pl. at 11:00 AM to celebrate Itzael’s life. 

Itzael will be deeply missed but never forgotten. May his soul rest in peace.
