Born on September 25, 1951, in El Paso, Texas, George carved out a life that exemplified unwavering dependability, boundless humor, and the kind of loyalty that one could always count on.
An industrious spirit, George embraced many roles throughout his life. He served with pride in the United States Air Force, where he showcased his expertise as an elect-tech in Biloxi, Mississippi, and later in Victorville, California before serving his one year term in the Vietnam War. His dedication to service extended beyond the military; he also took on the mantle of a Beaudry transportation manager and transport driver for Wackenhut, exhibiting the reliability that characterized his life's work.
George’s pursuit of knowledge began at Irvin High School in El Paso, Texas, continued at Pima Community College, and was further enriched through his service in the Air Force and Arizona Air National Guard with a combined 27 years of service. This educational foundation not only equipped him with skills but also shaped the honorable man he became.
In both his personal and professional lives, George was renowned for his quick wit and infectious sense of humor. Friends and family alike were often uplifted by his jovial nature and laughter, which resonated through gatherings filled with warmth and camaraderie. An aficionado of the outdoor life, he found joy in camping, hunting, boating, and fishing, adventures often shared with those he loved. His passion for Harley rides echoed his free-spirited personality, while weekend BBQs became a beloved tradition, drawing loved ones together to create cherished memories.
As a proud member of the TX 4x4 Club and a devoted HAM Radio Operator, George was deeply involved in his community, embodying the spirit of connection and friendship. His Presbyterian faith provided him with strength and guidance, serving as a cornerstone of his values.
He leaves behind a loving family that reflects the depth of his character. His devoted wife of 56 years, Brenda Jo (Brady) LeFlohic, stood by his side through thick and thin. Together they raised three beloved children: Theresa Michelle LeFlohic, Catherine Lynn LeFlohic, and John Lucien LeFlohic. The legacy of love continues through their nine adoring grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother, Harry LeFlohic, and sister, Ida Catherine (LeFlohic) Perea, who will carry forward his memory in their hearts.
George's departure is felt deeply by those who knew him, while he now joins his deceased family, including his father, Lucien Henry LeFlohic; mother, Ida Catherine (Vandemoer) LeFlohic; and brothers Lucien Rick and John Edward LeFlohic. Their reunion brings solace amidst the sorrow.
