Listen to Obituary

Frances Kay Shreves, lovingly known as Fran, graced our world on November 18, 1945, in Pueblo, Colorado, where her journey began. She departed this life on October 31, 2025, leaving behind a legacy etched in the hearts of those who cherished her vibrant spirit and indomitable will.

A beacon of confidence and independence, Fran navigated life with a unique charm that drew people to her. In 1964, she united in marriage to her beloved husband, Ronald Shreves, and together they embarked on a military adventure that wove their lives through Orange County, California, the quaint beauty of Paxton, Illinois, and finally to Tucson, Arizona, where they planted their roots for the past 57 years.

Her nurturing hands crafted warmth in the form of delicious meals, each dish a testament to her love for cooking. Hours spent sewing, cross stitching, and tending to her beloved garden revealed the artistry that flourished within her. Fran was a reader at heart, enjoying the escape of a good story. Cherished above all else was time with her family and friends.

Fran leaves behind a rich tapestry of family who hold her close in their memories. She is survived by her sons, Randy (Mindy) Shreves, David (Mable) Shreves, and Mitchell (Cecilia) Shreves; her daughters, Jennifer (Rod) Segovia and Ronda Loo; her sister, Shirley (Henry) Sanchez; grandchildren who treasured their time with her, Ryan (Katie) Shreves, Zack (Izzy) Shreves, David (Star) Shreves, Jason (Samantha) Shreves, and Chris (Jennalyn) Shreves, Lily and Emily Shreves, Priscilla (Jimmy) Spata, and Disney, PJ, and Rod Segovia along with Bishop Loo. Last but not least, her living legacy, her great-grandchildren, Brenden, Hayden, Landen, Raiden, Elliott, Easton, Brayden, Luke and baby Hank. She found joy in the laughter and love they brought into her life.

Though she is survived by her devoted family, she is preceded in death by her dear husband, Ronald Shreves; her father, Herman Arp; her mother, Lily Arp; and her sister, Priscilla Schmidt. Each of these precious souls shaped her world, leaving echoes of love that resonate through her children's lives.
