Fayron Carlos Chapman, commonly known as Carlos, 62 years old, of Tucson, Arizona, passed away on December 23, 2025.
He was born on August 28, 1963 in Mobile, Alabama to Janie Delores Nelson and Fayron Theodore Chapman. He proudly served in the United States Air Force for 22 years, retiring as the rank of Staff Sergeant. Following military service, he was employed at Carondolet St. Joseph’s Hospital as a patient transporter.
Carlos was known for his humor and free-spirited personality. He enjoyed fishing, visiting local establishments, socializing and spending time in the company of others. He deeply loved his family, friends, and Alabama Football.
He is survived by his children, Fayron Chapman Jr. and Rashaunda Chapman; his grandchild, Ava Simpson; his mother, Janie Cade and her husband, Wash Cade; his siblings, Patricia Golston, Monica Cade and Timothy Cade as well as a host of other family members, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Fayron Theodore Chapman.
A funeral service will be held on January 2, 2026 at 10:00 AM at Ideal Missionary Baptist Church - 2130 S. Dodge Blvd, Tucson, AZ. Military honors will be rendered. Private cremation will follow at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Ideal Missionary Baptist Church or VFW Post 549 in his memory.
