Eddie Lopez, Jr.

Eddie Lopez, Jr. passed away on August 17, 2026, in Tucson, Arizona. He was born on January 4, 1993, in Tucson, and will be remembered for his kindness, his big heart, and the joy he brought to the people around him.

Eddie attended Amphitheater High School. He loved music and cooking, and he especially adored being a father. His children were his proudest accomplishment and a central part of his life. He loved his family and loved making memories with them. Eddie will also be remembered for laughing, always making jokes, and bringing warmth and lightness wherever he went.

Those who knew Eddie knew him as someone who was always kind. He had a big heart, and that spirit touched family and friends in lasting ways. His presence, his humor, and the love he gave so freely will be deeply missed and fondly remembered.

Eddie is survived by his mother, Monica Leyvas, and his father, Jarrod Leyvas. He is also survived by his sisters, Sabrina Sustaita, Destiny Lopez, and Brianna Leyvas, and by his brothers, Anthony Lopez, Alexis Leyvas, and Jerry Jr. Leyvas. He leaves behind his fiancée, Tomi Kristina Aranda. Most of all, he leaves behind his beloved children, Moses and Elijah Lopez, who meant so much to him and were the pride of his life.

A visitation will be held on September 11, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Sensible Funerals & Cremation, 109 W Grant Road, Tucson, AZ 85705.

Eddie Lopez, Jr. will be remembered with love for his laughter, his caring nature, and the deep love he had for his family. His memory will live on in all who knew and loved him.
