Craig T. Locey, age 82, Oro Valley, Arizona passed away from complications of Parkinson's. Craig graduated from Michigan Tech University in 1965 with a degree in Forestry. For most of his career he worked for the Department of Natural Resources in Tomahawk, Wisconsin as a Forester and also as a Pilot. He finished his Forestry career with the U.S. Forest Service as a Silviculturist, traveling to seven eastern states. Craig loved Bayfield, Wisconsin, where he designed and built Thimbleberry Inn Bed & Breakfast on Lake Superior. He and Sharon retired after 23 years of innkeeping.

He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Sharon; his daughter, Reneé Scherrer of Maui, Hawaii; sisters, Ruth Beach and Jean Locey, and his yellow lab, Amber.

A Celebration of Life will take place in Wisconsin this summer. Place and time to be determined.

Another Celebration of Life will be held 9:30 AM, September 7, 2025 at White Pines State Park Lodge, 6712 W. Pines Road, Oregon, Illinois.
