Cindy Kelley

Donna Ruth “Cindy” Kelley, 72, of Tucson, Arizona, passed away peacefully into the arms of Jesus on September 8, 2026.

Cindy was born in Nashville, Tennessee, to Tom and Ruth Lamartino (nee Tillman), and moved to Arizona as a child. A woman of faith, she lived her life as a Christian witness with a warm devotion to her Lord and Savior. She was a member of Zion City church in Flowing Wells.

Cindy pursued her passion for education, earning a B.S. from Grand Canyon College and M.Ed. from the University of Arizona. She dedicated her career to teaching 4th and 5th graders, which brought her great joy. Known for her adventurous spirit and sense of humor, she also had a great love for crafts and sewing.

Cindy was preceded in death by her husband, Forrest Kelley; her parents, Tom and Ruth Lamartino; the son of her heart, Tom, whom she raised and who affectionately called her "Aunt"; her sister, Ginger; and her stepson, Kip.

Cindy is survived by her step-daughter, Kim; her step-granddaughters, Aubreay and Mariah; and her nieces and nephews.

She also leaves behind many cherished relationships, missed dearly by her many lifetime friends, school friends, her Church family, former coworkers, students, and the dedicated caregivers who provided comfort and support.
