Beverly Jean Paquet

Beverly Jean Paquet, 74, passed away peacefully on August 29, 2026, in Tucson, Arizona. Beverly was born October 13, 1951, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, to Sarah Catherine Ray and Raymond Lewis Pfeil.

On July 20, 1973, she married John Louis Paquet in Fairfax, Virginia. Together they shared 53 years of marriage, building a life and family filled with countless memories along the way. They had just celebrated their 53rd wedding anniversary in July.

More than anything, Beverly will be remembered as a wife, mom, grandma, great-grandma, sister and aunt. Her family stretched across generations and across the country, and each of them will carry their own memories of her with them.

Beverly loved antiquing, and anyone who knew her knew about her love for Hall China. There was always the possibility that the next antique shop might hold another special piece just waiting to be found.

She also loved genealogy and researching family history. Beverly could spend hours following names, dates and family connections through generations. Through that passion, she helped preserve pieces of her family's story that might otherwise have been lost — a fitting legacy for someone whose own place in the family will never be forgotten.

Beverly was preceded in death by her parents, Sarah Catherine Ray and Raymond Lewis Pfeil; her daughter, Elizabeth Dee Cornell; her brother, David Martin; and her sister, Ida Rudge.

She leaves behind her husband of 53 years, John Louis Paquet of Tucson, Arizona; her daughters, Angela Marie McMahon of Pinetop, Arizona, Michelle Gombar and Kelly Paquet of Tucson, Arizona; her grandsons, Christopher Kiefer of Gryffindor, South Carolina, Andrew Czarnowski of Tucson, Arizona, and Matthew Czarnowski of Show Low, Arizona; and her granddaughter, Alicyn Czarnowski of Tucson, Arizona.

She also leaves behind her great-grandchildren, Cooper Bishop of Tucson, Arizona, Waylon Czarnowski and Charlotte Czarnowski of Show Low, Arizona; her brother, Charles Lott of Morgantown, West Virginia; her sister, Patricia Heinbaugh of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; and many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.

For a woman who spent so much time discovering and preserving the stories of those who came before her, Beverly now leaves a story of her own — one that will continue through her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and all those who loved her.

She will be greatly missed.

No formal services will be held. Beverly will be laid to rest at the Marana Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
