Anna Maria Lambert, née Slagel, passed away in Tucson, Arizona, on June 21, 2026, at the age of 79. Born on December 29, 1946, in Miami, Oklahoma, Anna’s journey through life was defined by her steadfast devotion to her family, her gentle spirit, and her quiet strength.
Anna’s life was woven with love from her earliest days, guided by the enduring influence of her late parents, Daniel and Anna Slagel. Throughout her life, she radiated warmth and generosity that touched everyone she met.
Anna built a life filled with meaning, marked by deep bonds with those she loved most. She found her life partner and best friend in Donald Lambert, with whom she shared a marriage spanning many decades. Their shared story began early and continued to grow richer with each passing year. In their union, they created a family grounded in respect, understanding, and unconditional love.
Together with Donald, Anna was the devoted mother of Annette Tarin and Donald Lambert. Her children were the lights of her life, and she poured all her care and wisdom into nurturing their paths forward. She took pride in each milestone and offered unwavering support through every joy and challenge.
Anna’s family continued to grow, blessing her with the gift of grandchildren: Emily, Drew, Mason, Madison, and Raymond. She cherished every moment she spent with them, creating a legacy of laughter, compassion, and connection that will be felt for generations. Her circle of love extended further still with the arrival of her great-grandchildren—Lillianna, Drew, and Aria—each a new testament to the family she had so lovingly nurtured.
Family meant everything to Anna, and she found joy and strength in the company of her siblings: Susie Dupnik, Gladys Seery, Grace Diego, and Dennis Slagel, who survive her and will forever carry her memory with them.
Anna’s gentle diligence shone throughout her professional life as well. She worked as a secretary with a law firm, where her kindness, reliability, and quiet determination made her beloved among colleagues and clients alike.
Anna’s rich tapestry of memories included chapters in Levittown, Pennsylvania, and in Tucson, Arizona. In each place, she built a home filled with warmth, laughter, and an open door for all who needed comfort or companionship.
Those who knew Anna will remember the subtle way she gave so much of herself—her listening ear, her ready wit, her unwavering encouragement. Her hands crafted more than meals or holiday traditions; they helped shape the character and strength of her family.
As we mourn her passing, we also give thanks for the gift of her presence in our lives—remembering her kindness, her steadfastness, and her love that lives on in those she leaves behind.
Anna is preceded in death by her beloved father, Daniel Slagel, and her mother, Anna Slagel. She is survived by her devoted husband Donald Lambert, her loving children Annette Tarin and Donald Lambert, her cherished grandchildren Emily, Drew, Mason, Madison, and Raymond, her adored great-grandchildren Lillianna, Drew, and Aria, and her dear siblings Susie Dupnik, Gladys Seery, Grace Diego, and Dennis Slagel.
