Allen Paul Fleming Jr., a devoted father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully at his home in Tucson, Arizona, on August 16, 2025, at the age of 77.
Born in Chicago, Illinois, Allen grew up in the city and graduated from Harlan High School, Class of 1967. In 1968, he joined the United States Air Force and honorably served his country for four years. Following his honorable discharge, he moved back to Tucson, Arizona, in 1972. Allen enjoyed a successful career in sales, retiring from Chapman Automotive after 30 years, and built lasting relationships with customers and colleagues alike.
Allen had a deep love for cars, woodworking, and collecting cherished items. Known for his friendly nature, big heart, and one-of-a-kind laugh, he left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him.
He is survived by his daughter, Charlene (Franklin); granddaughters, Kennedy, Olivia, and London; his brother, Dexter Fleming (Chon); and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Allen and Rosemary Fleming; his son, Derek; his brother, Denis; and his ex-wife and lifelong friend, Pamela. He was also preceded in death by his special friend, Patricia Goggans.
Allen’s warmth, generosity, and unique spirit will be deeply missed, but his legacy will live on through the love of his family and the many lives he touched.
