Ricardo Pallanes Ruiz
March 5, 1949 - March 26, 2022
Ricardo “Yogi” Pallanes Ruiz served in the United States Army and there he became a Two Tour Vietnam Veteran. He then served his country honorably in the Army Reserve. Ricardo’s civilian life was as a salesman for office supplies and furniture for Stationers Corporation in Tucson and El Paso, Texas. His career also included working for Boise Cascade in Tucson, and Eastman Inc. in Tucson. Ricardo is survived by his wife Kathleen, Brother Manuel (Rosemary) Ruiz, aunt, uncle, nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and cousins. Preceded in death by parents Rosario Ruiz, Maria P. Ruiz, Step-Mother Antonia Ruiz, brother Rosario Ruiz, and sister Socorro Smith. Ricardo will be honored with a graveside service May 4th, 2022 at 10:30am at Holy Hope Cemetery, Tucson, Arizona. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to a cancer charity.
