Martha Gonzalez-Sanchez

April 21, 1972 - February 21, 2022

After a long hard fought battle with cancer, Martha Guadalupe Gonzalez Sanchez was welcomed to the gates of Heaven meeting her mother Maria, and two brothers, Larry (Robin) and John (Virgina) Gonzalez on February 21, 2022 in Tucson, Arizona. Martha was 49 years old and is survived by her husband Rafael Sanchez; father Manuel Gonzalez; sister Maria (Antonio) Guasp; brothers Jesse (Rebecca) Gonzalez and Emilio (Melva) Gonzalez. Along with 13 nieces and nephews, and 15 great nieces and nephews. Martha was born on April 21,1972 and was the youngest out of the six siblings. As a young adult she found her passion in caring for others especially the sick and elderly. She dedicated her life to helping others, even while battling with cancer. Through all the hardships she faced in her life, Martha never lost her faith. She was involved at Santa Cruz Parish and was a member of Las Guadalupanas. Martha’s involvement with the church and community allowed her kind spirit to impact everyone that she crossed paths with. She made countless friends that have become family over the years. Martha touched many lives with her strong spirit and compassion for others. Funeral services will be held at Santa Cruz Catholic Church- 1220 S. 6th Ave. Tucson, Az. 85713 on Wednesday March 9th, 2022. Beginning at 10:00 AM for viewing, followed by Rosary at 10:30 AM and mass at 11:00 AM.
